NextPVR, Kodi and iptvsubs

I have iptvsubs IPTV subscription.
I am using desktop PC, Win 7, Kodi installed.

I downloaded and installed NextPVR, Enabled it in Kodi. Epg for iptvsubs downloaded.
In Kodi, TV is enabled.
But I dont see TV menu to use NextPVR.

Can anybody help?

What TV tuner do you have connected to your NextPVR machine?

NextPVR is only for physical tuners. It's not for IPTV.

I don't have TV tuner. I have an IPTV service called "iptvsubs" that I pay $13/mo. I watch TV channels in Kodi from iptvsubs feed.
When I opened NextPVR, under device option, there is IPTV option but it requires http or url which I dont have for iptvsubs.
So I can't use NextPVR for my need. Too bad.

BTW are you familiar with DVBLink or DVBViewer? It look like I have to pay for them as NextPVR is free. Is this true?
Also, since you know lot about PVRs, do you know of any other PVR that I can use to record iptvsubs?
I get EPG thru epg.ninja, and using PVR Simple Client to see TV guide, but PVR Simple Client does NOT record.

NextPVR wont work for your iptvsubs feed. You'd need some other kodi PVR backend for that.

NextPVR is designed to work with tuner hardware.

Sorry, I really know next to nothing about the other Kodi backends support iptv. I've not used any of them myself. Yes, I think you do have to pay for DVBLink or DVBViewer if you want to use these.

My area of expertise is NextPVR itself, and I know very little about Kodi. You'd probably get better information asking on the kodi forums.

I am total newbie to Kodi, addons, PVR, iptv, etc..
I realize now that Kodi, PVR, IPTV, all are very different field of discipline.
