No channels showing

WMC has become the suck, Me thinks MS is trying to encourage users to use Ubuntu

Anyway, I'm still using Win 7 and have fought off the Win 10 assault.

Was refered to Kodi and NextPVR on AR15.com. Did the install dance, even Soft PVR and WinTV8 (which does show channels but will only play the channel the DISH receiver is tuned to at the time)

NextPVR shows all aspects on my Hauppauge 2250. After scan complete, no channels are shown no matter whether analog, ATSC or QAM aspect is selected.

Which do you want? There is a bug in the original QAM routines that was fixed in a recent update to the installer.

That would have been the same with WMC correct? and will be the same with NextPVR, if your setup is receiving analog from a DISH receiver. You can get it to auto change change on the set top box with the use of an IR Blaster.

Are you want to receive your TV from a dish receiver? If so, you're talking about analog (from a set top box). In this type of setup, you don't scan for channels (becuase there is only ever a single physical channel). I am having the same problem. I am trying to set up QAM and have installed version 3.7.7. Does this version have the updates necessary?
Using Hauppauge WinTV 2200 dual tuner card which is showing in the devices section (and works fine under jriver pvr)

Try reinstalling 3.7.7. The installer has been updated with the latest patches. As far as I know, this should resolve the QAM scanning issue that was present in the original 3.7.7 installer.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this issue. I have been setting up a DVR for my parents who have a Hauppauge 2250 and am having issues getting in the Clear QAM stations to come in. The tuner shows up but when I run a channel scan I get nothing. I even tried all of the channel frequencies but still get nothing. I then installed wintv v8 and it picked up all the stations so I know it's not the tuner. After that i tried re-installing NextPVR 3.7.7 three times and no change. Sub posted a fix in this thread. You might try replacing your TSMon file with the one provided by Sub and see if that helps. Stop the recording service before doing this (just in case) and then reboot.
