Nextpvr Web Interface URL

Hi - is there anyway of getting the Nextpvr interface url to be configurable like the port number? Something like http://host:8866/npvr/modern

I'd like to set up an Nginx reverse proxy to access via my domain if possible so I can access the service via something like http://www.domain.com/npvr

To short answer is - I don't know. This isn't something I've tried.

OK Sub thanks - I can handle the Nginx part, but it seems the nextpvr web interface is always looking for host:port/ and I was thinking maybe there is an option of adding a sub-url to the end.

The messy way is to set up a sub-domain like npvr.domain.com and do loads of rewrites in Nginx. Much easier if we could have a configurable url I think.

Does http://:8866/modern/index.html work for you? This is what I use (I don't default to the new UI).

Hi Martin - If I set Nginx up to receive requests on http://www.mydomain.com/npvr1/modern/index.html, and redirect to http://internal_ip:8866/ then Nextpvr itself is redirecting to http://www.mydomain.com/logon.aspx?Retur...index.html with a 404 error.

I don't know anything about proxies but that sounds backwards would you want http://www.mydomain.com/npvr1 to redirect to http://internal_ip:8866//modern/index.html

no you can't do that because you then won't see the rest of the pages etc - only index.html. The problem is that logon.aspx is running directly on the port (8866) root in this instance and there does not appear to be a configurable way in Nextpvr of changing this to use a subdirectory/url after the port such as 8866/newurl

So, when the modern interface needs to redirect to logon.aspx, currently it is looking at the root /logon.aspx instead of something like /newurl/logon.aspx

I hope that makes sense.
