Adding Recurring Recordings Not in EPG

Hello,

With my recent upgrade to Windows 10 I had to search for a WMC replacement so thank you for having this great option available. I'm currently trying to setup NextPVR to record all my favorite shows but I've run into a few issues I can't find information on.

Since it's Summer here there are no episodes in the EPG (SchedulesDirect) for most of my shows so I have no way of using that guide data to create the 'NEW season' recordings. I've attempted to use 'MAN-REC' with the advanced option of " title LIKE '%name'%' " as described on the Wiki but nothing ever shows up in the recurring menu.

For the shows that have repeats in the current EPG data I have been able to try and set the recordings for 'NEW seasons' but again nothing ever shows up in any of the Recording windows.

Does the 'Recurring Recordings' window only show data when there is a matching episode in the current EPG data? If so would it be possible for it show all shows that it's watching for or is there anyway to see that information anywhere else? Since there's nothing showing up in that window or the 'Pending Recordings' window I have no way of knowing if what I'm entering is even being saved.

The "Recurring Recordings" screen should list ALL recurring rules stored in the database regardless of whether or not there are currently any matching shows in the EPG.

The "Pending Recordings" screen will only list recurring recording episodes which are in the current EPG and are scheduled to be recorded (i.e. if there are multiple matches, only the specific instance currently selected/scheduled will show up in the Pending Recordings list).

Your log files seem to show you attempting to update recurring recordings. So it appears there are some in there. It would be helpful if you included specific details like "At 3:45pm I attempted to create a new recurring recording for "The Bachelorette" then went to the Recurring Recordings screen and it wasn't listed." You might also consider making your npvr.db3 database file available so that we can see what it is showing for recurring recordings.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up deleting the npvr.db3 file and setting it back up. After that was done and the EPG was updated I went to TV Guide, selected 'Good Morning America' and set it to record the season. All the episodes in the EPG are showing in the Pending Recordings but nothing is showing up in the Recurring Recording screen.

For some reason your database is set up to use Schedules Direct, but the overnight update is just using the crappy OTA data. This looks like one for sub.
