Import media centre recordings

Hi, I'm new to nextpvr after jumping from windows media centre due to upgrading to windows 10. One thing I'm not sure about though, is it possible to have my old media centre recordings which are still on the PC appear in nextpvr recordings somehow?

There is nothing built in for importing media center. If you're able to extract this data from media center, then we can probably help you massage it into a NextPVR format for it to be imported into NextPVR.

Thanks for getting back so quick! The videos are just held in C:\Users\Public\Recorded TV as shown inattc screenshot.

If you've only got the files themselves and no extra info about them, you might as well just point a video library directory at them so they can just be played as regular files.

If you've got more info, like names, descriptions etc, then you can try making one of NextPVR's recording-backup.xml, and use the import feature - this way they'd be added as recordings with full details etc. It'd be up to you to create that xml file though.
