Haven't been here for quite some time. Everything has been working flawlessly for years.

However, now I have lost my OTA (DVB-C in my case) EPG completely. I can't figure out why. What I have done so far: Empty EPG, reload EPG. Export channels, delete channels, re-import channels. All channels are set to DVB/ATSC-EPG. I am hesitant to replace my npvr.db3 since I don't want to lose all my settings. Tuner is Astrometa DTV something with BDA drivers.

Logs are attached plus config and npvr.db

I would be grateful for any pointers.

It's because the DVB device you were using for your EPG source was deleted, or you've replaced the device with another one.

Quote:2016-09-18 18:25:09.268 [DEBUG][9] captureSourceOID: 21
2016-09-18 18:25:09.269 [ERROR][9] Channel uses broadcast EPG connected to non-existant capture source: 21 (channel: Das Erste HD)
It isn't very easy to fix this. You can go to the Settings->Channels screen, double click a channel, set the EPG to None, hit ok to save it, then double click the channel again, and set the EPG back to DVB EPG, and hit ok again. After these steps, that channel should be fixed.

If it's going to be too much of a pain to do this for each channel, you could alternatively delete the channels and rescan for them. You'd need to delete and recreate any recurring recordings for these channels too.

Thanks, but unfortunately, that doesn't work for me. I had tried a rescan previously without deleting the channels first. That hasn't worked either.

Is there a way to fix this in the database?

Are you sure you tried those exact steps, including the 'ok' to save the 'None' EPG source, because I just tried those steps here with your database, and did fix the issue (it moved that channel from looking at capture source 21 which no longer exists, over to capture source 23 which does exist).

You've got no recurring recordings though, so deleting the channels (on the Settings->Channels tab) and rescanning should be pretty painless.

You can edit the database to fix it, but that's a lot more work than any of the other options.

I tried exactly that using the bulk map feature. I just found out that it does indeed work from the channel editor. Apparently, this makes a difference?

Yes, you'd need to use that screen.
