- X-NEWA added significance field (Series Premiere etc) needs a web server update not available yet I can provide updates if needed

I'm using the web client on an RPi3. And it has just started behaving strangely in the What's New recordings list. (That's where I just noticed it. Probably affects other lists.) It started periodically going into a little "seizure mode" where the screen would flash between blank and displaying the data multiple times per second for a bit. I got kodi.log and webclient.log files and managed to get it to do it with kodi debugging turned on (right at the end of the kodi.log file attached).

With a series of DoCompositeRendering() logs all within a few hundredths of a second.

I got kodi.log and webclient.log files and managed to get it to do it with kodi debugging turned on (right at the end of the kodi.log file attached).

The kodi.log file included in this original post had some insufficient resource errors so I increased the GPU memory. Here is a new set of logs.

Too much spam from ios and fanart debug info to see much but it looks like nextPVR is spinning in needs rendering true related to recording metadata. Sub might see something interesting.

You can turn off this new logic by changing a line in emulate.py near the top self.exitLoop = 10 from 30

No but if you look in his Kodi.log you can see needs rendering 1 second after each /, control when he is in Recordings. His catalog files are huge I don't have episode art.

It's not just with the What's New list. It just happened when the screen was displaying an episode details pop-up here at 21:43:00-21:43:01.
