No audio

Brand new install, on fresh install of Windows 7.
I am using HDMI from laptop to TV.
Tv is coming from a HDHomerun.
I get no audio in Live TV, but I can minimize NextPVR open Youtube and it plays audio fine.
I can play the HDHomerun directly and audio is fine...Issue is only in NextPVR

What could be the issue

It'll most likely come down to the AC3 audio decoder you've got selected on the Settings->Decoders screen.

Not reading the sticky or the wiki is usually the issue. Audio decoders in this case AC3Filter or Lav will be required for AC3 playback.

Thanks - the LAV decoder did the trick for the laptop speakers but it still isnt working over hdmi

Lots of potential problem areas for getting audio over HDMI. First, everything in the connection chain has to be HDCP compliant. Your Audio driver has to be able to support HDMI, and HDCP and the audio codec. I would start at System|Control Panel|Audio and examine the playback devices.
