Is there any documentation about using NextPVR as a drag & drop target for playing videos? Command line parameter maybe?

I haven't found anything?

AS far as i know there is drag & drop or CLI option. However you should be able to use WMP, MP-HC or VLC to accomplish what you are looking to do.

The main reason I'm asking is that I've experienced some problems trying to play NextPVR .ts files with VLC that doesn't happen using NextPVR playback. Basically, occasionally, VLC will not show times in the time line and will not allow me to use keystrokes to skip forward or backward. Very annoying. I'm always of the opinion to try use a single program that does everything I want it to. NextPVR does behave nicely with skipping around but I'm not aware that I can just drop a file onto it like VLC and have it play. The wiki shows no such capability. Thought I might have missed something.

Drag & Drop works perfectly! Even starts playback with live TV in use! Even while recording! Thank you. But, ahem, if it's not too much trouble, if you could add one leetle function so that NextPVR will play a file by using the File Explorer right-click context menu and selecting 'Open with..."? Maybe the next release?

This updated version adds the ability to use "Open with...".

I'll be using NextPVR playback instead of VLC as much as I can.
