time-specific manual recurring rules work fine as long as they've been created in the same time zone as the resulting pending recordings. It's only when crossing a time zone change (i.e. daylight savings on or off) that things go wrong. sub has put in a fix for the next release that seems to fix this, although I don't understand how the fix works (that's the thing when sub's the programmer and I'm not - only he has to understand). currently I have a manual recurring recording created during daylight savings time that scheduled the recordings for the correct time both before and after the DST change this coming Sunday. I'm still suspicious that it will break after the DST change (that's the whole me not understanding how the fix works thing rearing it's ugly head), but sub assures me it won't. We shall see.
