Install Kodi over working nextPVR??

I have a nice working copy of nextPVR, but I am thinking of installing Kodi and Exodus. Will installing these wreck my working nextPVR.
Is there a way to do it safely? PS I backed up my computer before I start.

No default NextPVR configuration changes are required so it should be safe, other than the small impact of adding a client onto NextPVR. Note you shouldn't discuss certain plugins for Kodi.
