NextPVR doesn't appear in Windows Volume Mixer – should it?

NextPVR is the only sound-making software on my Windows 10 PC which doesn't appear in the Windows Volume Mixer window to enable me to mute it or adjust its volume relative to other applications. Is this normal behaviour or something amiss? (I'm using it with a Blackgold DVB-T and DVB-S all-in-one four-tuner card if that makes a difference.)

Aha! I did have this set to "Default (Recommended)", but thanks to you highlighting this setting as the possible cause, I tried changing it to the soundcard my speakers are hooked up to and suddenly NPVR appeared in Volume Mixer for the first time! Thanks very much.
