Kodi freezes

Hi,

Sometimes when watching TV through Kodi the picture will freeze and Kodi then completely locks up although I can still hear the audio coming through. I have to reboot the system to get it working again. The Kodi log shows the below just before the crash:

18:55:47 2978.291016 T:1560663104 ERROR: AddOnLog: NextPVR PVR Client: Socket::receive: (errno=104) ECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer

Is there a way to set things up so that Kodi doesn't crash if this error is encountered? Is this a problem with the NextPVR addon or a deeper Kodi problem?

I've had this same problem since forever.

Has a fix or a workaround ever been found?

Without logs I can't tell if that is your error. There are way too many varities of Kodi out there to answer this directly but it is likely not be a Kodi or NextPVR problem, a poor signal, spotty wifi or missing h/w deinterlacing or decoding could all have this effect.
