The debug Kodi.log with the NextPVR logs is always best. If you install the Kodi log uploader add-on the URL is fine.

ok the resolution setting didnt make any difference till i restarted server pc
it is faster but now i have crap graphics.  Not sure thats a upgrade

The default setting is 1280 x 720 lower is expected to be worse. No need to restart Exit from main menu should do it

had to restart recording service for it to reload with new res (all witch craft to me )

even at 720 its sluggish compared to what i have got used to

You didn't turn on debug logging so not much help. I am seeing lots of skin problems. Are you running Confluence?
Also you seem to have two copies of x-newa installed. That shouldn't be possible but it could be a problem. Martin

No confluence is OK it is all the skin errors that are problems not just with x-newa. Debug logging might show more.

Yes those are debug logs you can have that without osd in advanced settings. It looks like you get two screens a second not sure if the RPI can do more than that. Did you try with the x-newa osd mode enabled
