I have a recurring problem that the overnight epg is blank, manual update works. Could someone have a look at the logs and see if anything stands out?

I see you are only getting 2 channels during your station scan manual or overnight

2017-03-06 06:02:59.082 [DEBUG][10] - saving 2 listings for channel: C More Sport HD

A big problem is your device doesn't seem to be configured properly. Also not only are you getting channel failures even most of your recordings are set for channels you don't have defined so even with a good scan it won't work.

That can't be right, I got one week of epg during the manual scan this morning! Ignore the recurring recordings, there are probably a lot og them that are defined to old dvb-c channels and I haven't cleaned them up yet. All the current channels that are scanned in works.

Sorry your right although most of your manual scan where just now next there were a few that got more. Specially I noticed the scan on 11216 returned lots but I didn't see the resuls from that frequency scan during the night perhaps because of these errors

2017-03-06 06:03:05.277 [DEBUG][10] EPG scan skipped for locator. Device is in-use.

The nrecord.log has lots of these ...

Quote:017-03-06 06:01:49.517 [DEBUG][10] broadcast channel: NRK1 HD
2017-03-06 06:01:49.517 [DEBUG][10] captureSourceOID: 109
2017-03-06 06:01:49.517 [DEBUG][10] found capture source
2017-03-06 06:01:49.517 [ERROR][10] Unexpected EPG error: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at NShared.EPGManager.UpdateEPG(IEPGUpdateCallback callback)

I suspect they are errors from the automagic scan ... Sadly, have I have no clue why.

He gets those in the NPVR scan too part of the bad configuration I was talking about.

Do you have channels that might have originally been setup on another device, which has since been removed? It may still be looking for that original device to get EPG data, and not finding it.

Possibly, I removed all channels before I deleted the dvb-c devices, so if npvr is looking for a noexistent channel/device it is a bug....
