Thank you for taking the time to explain. I can only assume that some automaton on the ESPN side fell asleep. Hope you can track it down.

If I can be of any help, please let me know.

Last week was all good so I will monitor again this weekend with two NASCAR races and an F1 Grand Prix.

Martin,

Yesterdays Infinity race was supposed to end at 6:30pm. At about 7pm I noticed it still recording and checked to see if it really was still broadcasting but found it was done so I forced a stop. Any idea what went sideways?

The ESPN API call didn't return that it stopped until later in my test. I don't think it had finished at 6:30 so something is working.

Code:
2017-03-25 19:14:20.929    [DEBUG][1]    LivePvrData.Data.Net.Responses.StatusResponse [Title=NASCAR Racing, Status=Race Complete, IsValid=True, IsActive=False, IsComplete=True, IsError=False, ]
2017-03-25 19:14:20.929    [DEBUG][1]    Sports event has ended

F1 worked ok, I use the option to stop recording early and it was 15 minutes early. I will see later today how today's race goes.

Seems to have worked correctly today, must have been electron fairies or something yesterday I guess.

Thanks

I've noticed the Infinity races are slower to respond at the end of the race this year and they don't have any live updates on the ESPN page anymore (scoreboard at top of espn.com) so it is fortunate that the API still returns some results. At least I believe I have fixed the server-side bug that was causing early exits for all auto racing. Better to be a little long.

Martin, appears there was a problem with the Infinity race today. NextEnd stopped the recording at 4:15, unfortunately it was scheduled to run until 5:30pm (5:45 actually with padding). The log is attached, though I really don't know what I'm looking at in the logs but it appears there's some errors starting about 15:35.

Thoughts?

Are you sure about the end time? It was a 1pm start and all the olgic including the end time seems to indicate the 4pm end with a bit of extra time. This news link seems to confirm the end time around four http://www.nascar.com/en_us/news-media/a...irola.html

Sorry Martin, it did work as designed. I was flipping channels about the 5:15pm and saw cars on the track so I assumed it was still the Xfinity as the EPG showed it running till 5:30pm. Since the race ended early Fox then went to Monster Energy qualifying. Sorry for the confusion.
