EPG found only on SOME channels (DVB-T, CZ)

Hi,
I've just installed nexptvr on Win 10/32b. Realtek USB DVB-T tuner, works fine with many programs.
Unfortuantely EPG is read only from SOME channels (tried increasing EPGScanSeconds to 300 seconds, enabled EPGLiveTVUpdates .... no EPG).

ndigitalhost-20.log says when tuning for the channel and then exiting to main menu (hope this is relevant):

but EPG is unpopulated.
Same channel is available WITH SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT NAME (!) on two different freqs/transporders/providers - one without, one with EPG.Could this be the reason (unable to map?):

CT:D / CT art ... Freq:602000 SID:264 (one W/O EPG)
CT :D / CT art ... Freq:778000 SID:264 (one WITH EPG - note extra space between T and :!)

If you can supply a one minute full transport stream for the frequency of one of these channels, I can load it up here, and see what is happening.

You can capture the full transport stream using the tscapture from http://www.tscapture.com. The evaluation version allows you to capture up to 1 minute files without buying a license.

Thanx for quick reply. The scans from both frequencies with CT:D / CT art channels are some 400 megs. Are you sure I should upload them here?

Unfortunately I'm getting listings from both those frequencies (with the exception of two radio channels). If I hadn't got the listings, it would have been much easier to delve into.

I got the complete listings for both frequencies, just using the default 60 seconds per frequency.

Do you have 'update DVB EPG during live tv' unchecked on Settings->Misc? You should do.

Yes, the attached logs show nextpwr can see listings - but then it doesn't populate them.

I had 'update DVB EPG during live tv' unchecked, but after several unsuccessful attempts to get EPG working I turned it on. Unchecked back to default and giving it another try.

No, after checking it.

I gave up and completerly uninstalled nextpwr, cleaned up settings and installed again - same behavior.
One more idea: where do I see signal strength / quality? Some channels / transponders are far away from me and although tunable and watchable, these are weak and sometimes dropouts occur. Usually I remove dupes with lower signal / quality, but as I'm new to nextpvr I don't know how to.

If you want to do an 'Update EPG' with it unchecked, and repost the logs, I'll take another.

If you press Ctrl-I in Live TV, it should show you the reported signal strength and quality. NextPVR doesn't show this info prominently support for it is very patchy - with some manufacturers using different ranges, and some not reporting anything, and some using hardcoded 100% type values in the presence of any signal.

Alternatively you can see it in the log snippets you posted above:

ie, one appears to be better than the other. "41" might be a poor signal - hard to know for sure...some manufacturers use "0 to 100", in which case this is probably poor. Other manufactures use "-4500 to 100", and anything above negative values is considered OK.

Sure, I don't take the figures absolutely, but as a general guideline "this one is far better, I'll keep it". Anyway, the 1st one without EPG seems better ... :/
