Keyboard shortcut for custom task

Is there a way to assign a keyboard shortcut to start a custom task that has already been defined?

I have "KODI" defined as a custom task, but I have to go back to the Home menu then scroll down the list to get to KODI.
It would be great to press 1 key from inside NextPVR that would take me directly to KODI.

You could change <DefaultTVGuide> in config.xml to <DefaultTVGuide>KODI</DefaultTVGuide>, then pressing F1 would take you to Kodi.

thanx; I did something similar to that for the plugin WE developed some time ago.
I wasn't sure if there was another way to do it.

I tried your suggestion using the Radio (F6) slot.
Funny thing, if I execute it from within my plugin, or TV listings etc., it first goes back to the Home screen and then fires up KODI.
Problem with that is when I exit KODI I'm back to the Home screen, not where I was when I hit the F6 key.

Sorry, that's just the way it works. These keys are used for switching to another plugin's screen. In this case, executable tasks don't have a screen of their own, so you end up back at the main menu.
