Hello! I got my tv guide issue settled, but now I have another issue. Recordings made thru NextPVR (Using Kodi as a frontend), have their audio messed up. It's intermittent, and the video never glitches, but the audio will sometimes sound like it's being played 2-3 times over itself, almost like an echo.

It comes and goes, and seems to happen one more than one channel. (Live TV is fine, only recordings have this)

In a previous post you indicated you're using a HDHR Prime. With this type of device, your recordings (and live tv) and just a copy of the digital stream the broadcaster sent. ie, NextPVR doesn't do anything to the audio, so no opportunity to be messing up the audio.

It's probably just something buggy Kodi is doing, an I'm guessing you'll find the audio is fine if you play it in another player. Based on your comment about it sounding like an echo, it sounds like this channel has multiple audio streams, and Kodi is playing all of them.

Huh. It's intermittent, so I wasn't sure. And yes, I'm using a HDHR prime on my network. I'll try playing it through another video player, or NextPVR itself.

I've had a similar problem with audio. I am just using NextPVR. Since 4.04 one channel (fox) has similar sounding audio. Only one subchannel is bad. 21.1 is bad and 21.2 is fine. sounds the same on live TV and recordings. Have tried several audio decoders with no difference. Was fine before 4.04. Tried running NPVRSetup_3_9_216119.exe but it still loads 4.04. Playing back a recording that is bad in NEXTPVR using Windows Media Player and it sounds fine.

I too have had this issue but mostly just on 1 channel (Duke). It happens with both the new TSreader or the legacy 1. It was bad enough for me to go back to previous version. Just thought I would wait to see if others were having the issue but I have not seen other posts about it. As I have rolled back I have no logs etc. but can try it again in the weekend if needed? Interestingly, the recordings of that channel that were made with latest version do play fine in previous version (and KODI but I much prefer to use NEXPVR front end)

If you can supply a short sample recording, I'll check it.

NPVRSetup_3_9_216119.exe is still there, and the original file.

Yeah, might need to see the logs if you can retry.
