Genre Coloring

If you want to supply your npvr.db3, I can check you've got genre colors set, and they match genre actually being used by your guide, and will check if they're showing up in the TV Guide, or if not why not.

I also included my log file. Thanks for taking a look.

You've only defined a couple of genre colors, for Technology and Travel. The only TV shows in your guide that use these genre are on the WTVSDT2 and WTVSDT3 channels. I can scroll thru these channels and see a splattering of shows colored because of these genres. ie, seems to be working.

I set colors for seven genres. Technology and Travel are the only two that "stick" The rest disappear upon exit from Settings.

I think I know what is happening. I think it relates to your duplicate genres, ie 'Crime Drama' is there more than once. Is suspect if you set all your Crime Drama genre, then the change would take. Maybe even just the last one, rather than the first one.

I'll have to think why you've got duplicates though...

I'll have to think why you've got duplicates though...

I have had this problem in the past - I think it is caused by deleting a channel and then rescanning which causes the channel to have a different identifier in the db to the original. This causes 2 entries with the same name but different identifiers in the genre table in the db. i think I used sql spy to delete the old entries.

The bug is also reported here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post515842 where I posted the quick fix is to run

nextpvr -emptygenre

before the next EPG update.

Is there a way to change the focus color when you make a selection from the EPG?
Right now the color is green, and it's hard to distinguish when there are a lot of other green blocks in the grid.
