Freesat - Cant find the channel "Dave"

Hi,

I've tried returning a few times but cant get Dave to be picked up even though its now available on FreeSat.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

its on 12129v 27500

are you tuning with the free sat only ini or with the full 0282 ini file. i recently found out it and quest were on freesat and had to retune immediately

honestly I have no idea, I only started using NextPVR today. I just had my first card scan all channels. Where is the ini and how would i use it?

its the dropdown box where you scan for channels 'satellite A' you have "28.2 freesat only(28.2e)" or "0282 astra 2e /2f /2g (28.2e)" my setup finds dave on both settings i just checked on the freesat only scan

hi, I only see 0282.. in my list which is selected, but no Dave. Should i also see 28.2... ?

Still no luck, but then when I look into the ini files 12129v does not appear in either the "0282.ini" or the "0282 FREESAT ONLY (28.2).ini" so i guess the scan wont be checking that frequency?

what version of npvr are you running? i think the latest version has the correct tuning files

latest version downloaded from the website yesterday.

I just generated a new ini file from http://satellites-xml.eu/ so I'm scanning with that just now. I will report back once the scan is complete.

Looks like the ini file needs to be updated in the installer.

Working great though, so much better than MedaiPortal!

It's sometimes not easy to keep track of channel/transponder changes at 28.2 I tend to check http://en.kingofsat.net/news28.2E.php every so often to see what's moving around and generate a new ini file if needed.
