tuner stutter

i have a tbs-6981 dvb-s card with 2 tuners and also a usb dvb-s tuner and i have noticed that i sometimes get a quick stutter when a second tuner is in use, i could be watching a channel and if the second tuner is then used for a recording i get a stutter where live tv in kodi stops for a second or so and then carries on, i have seen the stutter in recordings to where a there is a second or so of the recording that repeats it's like there is 'a glitch in the matrix' when it happens.

i can't get to the computer for logs till after the weekend but am curious if anyone else has seen this behaviour?

I don't use Live TV ... but I do see the "repeated" second or so during playback at the moment that another recording started ... I'll try and find the time to do some diagnostic work in the next few days.
