From PVR-350 to DVD. Help

Hi

I'm recording composite video signals using a PVR-350, these are saved as an mpeg file.

What I'm trying to do is, convert some of the films I've recorded, from mpeg to DVD.

What is the easiest way? Every thing I've tried so far seems to take about 5 hours to convert and ties the pc up with the processor going at 100%.

All you need to do with the mpg's is author them, then burn.
If you don't want a menu of any sort, just an auto-play DVD, then try PVAStrumento and Rejig.
Demux the file using PVAS, then Open Rejig, select Author. Load the mpv video and the mpa audio, select PAL or NTSC, select a destination and filename, and click Create.
It will take a few minutes (but nowhere near 5 hours!), and you'll have a finished VIDEO_TS folder, with the .vobs and such in it.
Burn this to disk, using the DVD Video template in your burning software.

If you want to have menus, chapters, etc., then you'll need some advanced authoring software.
I highly recommend DVDLab (http://www.mediachance.com), as a very full authoring package, at a great price, although there are others, and even a couple of very basic free ones.
