NextPVR.exe crashes and doesn't start, no logs emitted

Something very weird is happening.. I come home, and all of a sudden, NextPVR doesn't start. When I try to run it, nothing happens for about two minutes, after which I get a "NextPVR has stopped working" dialog. No logs of any kind are emitted, so I don't know what's going on.

Here's what I found in the Windows event viewer for the crash:

Any ideas, please? :confused: I'm completely lost, never seen this sort of thing before. I tried right clicking on the tray and 'show settings', but it does the same thing.

Hmm, somehow my config.xml turned into 18 KB of null characters.. how could this have happened?

Disk error, or reboot an unlucky time (while writing to disk or something).

It'll create you a new config.xml if you delete this old broken one. You'll need to reset your recording paths etc.
