It depends on which version of Kodi you're running. In 18, hit Settings, then 'PVR & Live TV', then switch from Basic to Expert bottom left (so you can see all the settings). You should see a 'Clear Data' button.

Ok. I didn't realise it was in Kodi, now done it.
I'm actually using Kodi 17.6, https://paste.ubuntu.com/26335311 https://paste.ubuntu.com/26335323 There is now an apparent difference, the message with 0% goes to 75% after about 2 minutes BUT so quick that the only thing I see is the 75% before it goes off. Needless to say no, actual channels.

I am guessing it is taking thread 4 way too long to send the channel list looking up the huge list and all the icons for the ondemand stuff

Orion88, if you try to open http://127.0.0.1:8866/service?method=channel.list in a web browser, how long is it taking?

BUT it told me there was no formatting associated with it and basically gave me the page in html. When I got rid of 'service?method' etc.. and just paged the ip and port I got it all in about 10 seconds. Best I can tell it was the full guide.

If a large part of the problem is the number of 'channels', if I can delete a lot of the groups would that help?
Personally I don't need to record live TV, that is my partner. & she is really only interested in UK entertainment. The rest is easily accessible from the ace addon. I've just tried to delete 'all' channels. I did aout 100 at a time. BUT after getting through them all they seemed to come back. I'm now trying to totally uninstall NPVR, and delete everything from my machine in order to start again. Where are there hidden caches? If I delete, users, public,NPVR do I get everything? Thanks Peter
