If you are not 100% certain there is nothing you may want in the NPVR directory best to rename the rename it for now just in case! You can delete it later.

Deleted it all and reinstalled. Including the new .dll. All went ok, but Kodi message says unable to load NPVR. "addon couldn't be loaded".

Post the kodi.log (with debugging enabled), and the NextPVR logs, and we'll take a look.

To enable debugging in Kodi, take a look at:
http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced#..._debugging
or

As a test, can you backup your npvr.db3 file (so you can get back to where you were), then go to the Settings->Channel screen, scroll down the channel list to '10 CLOVERFIELD LANE'. Click that channel, then scroll to the end of the channel list, hold shift and click the last channel (ie, selecting all the on-demand movie and tv shows), then click delete. It'll probably take a while. Let it complete, then try Kodi again, to see if it then loads.

You didn't include the Kodi log for the first channel load request on thread 20 that took almost 3 minutes howevr it probably is like these ones that all take way too long for Kodi. (they time out in Kodi and then Kodi retries after 30 seconds)

Not sure why NextPVR isn't complaining about the error on the closed sockets.
