MVP hangs

Just recently my MVP is hanging while viewing pictures. It seems to be doing it with the larger image sizes like 1.2MB for example. Is there an image size limit for the MVP? Everything else seems OK, including image viewing on the computer. Live TV and videos are fine so bandwidth is OK.

(I have the latest GBPVR ver - didn't notice the image prob with prev ver but this could be completely coincidental).

Do you get any error in your gbpvr.exe.log file when this happens?

I'm not aware of anything that would cause this.

I have this problem as well. I went back to the previous version of dongle.bin.

Thanks, Sub. Just run another test. MVP seized again on an image just over 1MB in size. It is consistent and repeatable for a given image. No error in the gbpvr.exe.log file. Last entry was over 6 hours ago when I restarted system.

OK, I restored an earlier dongle.bin dated 7/12/2004 and the large pic problem has completely gone. I am happy, but does this affect everyone using the older picture viewer and new dongle.bin?

What version of Dongle.bin fails and what version works ?

Well, the latest doesn't (93.10) and the previous does (92.11).
