Hi. On the MISC tab, I have set my Buffer Directory to a location on my D drive. This is because my C drive is Solid State and does not always have a ton of space.

I just noticed that when I run Live TV from the NextPVR IOS Client, the associated temporary files are on C anyway, specifically in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\temp.

I suppose I could set a symbolic link from this directory to a location on the D Drive, but is there a right way to prevent this from happening?

Thanks

This isn't really about the iOS app, but rather where the web server home directory is. The iOS app and web app, both view the stream over http from the web server.

It's not currently possible to have the web server directory somewhere other than in the NextPVR data directory. You could move your whole NextPVR data directory to you D:\ drive. ie, copy the c:\users\public\NPVR directory to some where on your d: drive, then edit the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR\ DataDirectory to point to the new new location.

...or try a symbolic link for just the \web\temp directory like you suggested.

Thanks. I created the symbolic link, and that solved the problem.
