Thanks. I'm not sure what the channel changer is. What I did instead was go to the Channels tab and double-click on each channel and just remapped it from the drop-down menu at the bottom. That seems to achieve the appropriate result.

Didn't work for me. After installing the new zap2xml and updating the EPG (several times), I have a whopping 7 channels to map to in the drop-down list, none of which I actually receive. I've had intermittent issues with this EPG source over the last couple years, but was just too lazy to switch back to SD. Now I have the necessary motivation.

• Empty the zap2xml cache folder
  
• Log into zap2it.com and make sure the channels you want are starred
  
• empty EPG in nextpvr
  
• delete and reimport channels (see post #97)

Many Thanks fla, post 97 was what I needed to fix things. However, after NPVR populated its TVGUIDE I noticed some channels list only "TBA" or "(no show details)" where the Zap2it web page displays scheduled programming. Any ideas as to why this is so?

This sounds like obsolete zap2xml cache files lingering since before some channels were added. Empty EPG in NextPVR, delete xmltv.xml, empty/delete zap2xml's cache folder and Update EPG in NextPVR.

There is a zap2xml option to avoid caching anything with TBA:
-T don't cache files with programs "TBA|To Be Announced"

Agreed, it happens to me every so often and that always fixes it.. I have also had much better luck using the TVguide account option under zap2xml as opposed to the other.

I have followed the guide laid out before me, but every single one of my channels is populated with the same information. Where exactly did I go wrong? How do I fix this?

Did you map the channels from the tuner to the channels in the xml file? Goto NextPVR Settings --> Channels, select a channel and then click Details ... The channel name near the top of the dialog box is the channel from the tuner and the channel name near the bottom of the dialog is the channel from the xml file ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...n.Channels

I had the same problem when I updated to the new Zap2XML program. FYI: in your UPDATEEPG.BAT you need to add (-a ) to populate your NPVR Menu. I use OTA (Over the Air) programming. When I mapped the Channels under the new XML channels, I used the National station for the Sub-channels (PBS for 2.1, 2.2, & 2.3) thinking it will show the Local Programming in those sub-channels. It doesn't. It just repeats the same National programming from the TV Station main channel. The only way to get Local programming on the Sub-Channels was to use DBA/ATSC listings. I used both Zap2it and TVGUIDE, but both doesn't download Local Programming, Just National programming. By using both XMLTV and DBA/ATSC I get a fully populated Menu with both National and Local Sub-Channels. I needed to create Two Tasks under Task Scheduler, One to updated the .BAT file once a day, and another to manually update NPVR "Update EPG" every hour (the longest allowed under Task Schedule). I have a Two Tuner Card and now the menu is current all the time instead of just for 6 hours a day.

This has been an issue for me for months. I have been able to work my way through my problems until now. The last time I had things working - somewhat - I had to run the routine manually. If I forgot, the menu would eventually be empty. Now, I can't even get that done. It appears to me that everything is OK except that the data does not appear in the Menu. I tried the suggested (-a) but that made no difference.
