NextPVR saves all of its settings in the config.xml and npvr.db3 in the data folder usually at c:\User\Public\NPVR ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...alledParts

The nuclear option would be to save the config.xml and npvr.db3 ... uninstall NextPVR and ensure that the NPVR folders are gone from Program Files (x86) and from Users\Public ... reinstall NextPVR ... replace the config.xml and npvr.db3 and reboot (just in case).

Thank you. I will try this too. Really tearing my hair out here.
I can get to the 127.0.0.1 in chrome however when I try 127.0.0.1:8866 I get the usual connection error. I am thinking this might be to do with the issue too but not sure how to fix. I will give your fix a go too. Thanks

That sounds like it might be a firewall issue. The NextPVR installer sets firewall exceptions for the Windows firewall. You may have an additional firewall ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Client.XBMC

Thanks for this assistance too. I am pretty sure I only have Windows Defender as anti virus and firewall. How do I check if I have others? I have also disabled windows defender temporarily to see if that fixes the problem

Of course that will not work because of the earlier error that is preventing the web server from loading. Perhaps turn off NTFS compression if it is on https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post508709
