Missing Audio

Hi. The channels ITV 2 HD and ITV 4 HD currently do not have any audio when I attempt to watch them live in NextPVR. A message comes on the screen which says:

"Missing audio? You don't have a MPEG-1 decoder selected. You can fix this on the Settings->Decoders screen."

However, on the Settings->Decoders screen, I have 'LAV Audio Decoder' set for all of the Audio Decoder types, including MPEG1 Audio. Plus, ITV 1 HD and ITV 3 HD play just fine, with audio. Any idea what the problem might be?

If you do a recording from one of these channels, and play it, do you get audio?

I am having the same problem. Looking at my log it seems that when you change channels that use different Audio Decoder then this error will happen because NextPVR cannot find it.

For instance, if I start the app and tune a channel that uses AC3 then it will work fine, but if I switch to one that uses MPEG-1 then I will see this error: "Missing audio? You don't have a MPEG-1 decoder selected. You can fix this on the Settings->Decoders screen.".

If I then close the app and the first channel I tune is MPEG-1 it works fine, but when I switch to an AC3 channel I will get the same error message but with the decoder it could not find: "Missing audio? You don't have a AC3 decoder selected. You can fix this on the Settings->Decoders screen.".

Seems to be a problem with NextPVR not being able to switch between decoders.

Please help!

Can you supply a short sample recording?

Yes sir! but it will happen the other way around as well
