Think about your government, if it is useless and not working for you don't scrap the whole concept of democracy, you just vote differently and choose another government...

To be clear what I want turned off is the rolling files that cause extra overhead on several platforms like Emby Andoid, browser and Apple and allow screaming directly from the device. This has nothing to do with the timeshifting on/off issue in Kodi.

Sub,

Suddenly Kodi Nextpvr addon on latest Kodi 18 nightly on Windows started working with timeshift...did you update the addon?
I tested the same on latest Kodi 18 nightly on Android, but still not working...

The addon was updated a few weeks ago.

Sorry, I don't know anything about Kodi on Android.

sub,

kind of off topic, but semi-related-

any chance you would take a stab at getting comskip to work with Kodi?

The addon already supports comskip, but unfortunately Kodi never asks for the in comskip info because they don't support comskip when playing videos over http.
