NEXTPVR Client not communicating with Server Windows

Hello all,
Recently I am not able to communicate with the NEXTPVR server from the client with win 10. I have done nothing with my network settings. I have noticed that I am running 4.2.1 on the server and 4.2.2 on the client. Could this be the reason? If so How do I update the server with out having to reinstall all my settings on the server?

Run the NextPVR install process on the server. The install process will preserve your settings. To add a belt to Sub's braces ... copy npvr.db3 and config.xml on the server before you run the install ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...alledParts

You need to stop the the NextPVR Recording Service on the server before you do the install ... there is an icon in NextPVR (or NPVR) in the Windows Start Menu (on the server).

That worked. Thank you. But when I installed 4.2.2 and launched the program it came up saying that an update is available but I was not able to find where in settings to download the update. Usually I would see an option under the ver number within settings...
Any thoughts?

My thought is that the messages about updates are one of Sub's very few less than total successes. I ignore the messages and monitor the Announcements sub-forum.

The updater works fine in all my tests, but as I've posted before, you do need one extra run of NextPVR to properly update config.xml to the fact that that the version updated.
