Is there a way to copy the channel mapping from one computer to another computer. I have two different computers with NextPVR on them. Configuring 99 channels is very time consuming, and prone to errors on my part. These are Win10 Pro systems with 8 hauppauge tuners each. One computer has dual quad tuners while the other has 1 quad tuner and 2 dual turners.

You could probably copy the npvr.db3 from one machine to the other, then visit the Settings->Devices screen. When you double click the tuners from that system, it'll offer to copy the channel info from the existing channels. When done copying them to the new tuners, delete the old tuners (which are probably marked as 'not present')

I did as you said, but now there is no data in the TV guide. I told it to update EPG, and it looked like it did, even saying it was updating recording. So now what.

Where are you getting the EPG from? Schedules Direct?

No. I am not home right now. It is the windows one where you make a donation. It is under EPG on the hard drive. I will get you more data when I return home.

An xmltv source?

If you're not getting any listings, make sure your .xml file is in the same location used on the original machine you copied your db3 file from, and check the file has listings in it.

Thank you, I am getting listing on both computers. They are just different, so I need to look at plugins to see if I have any. Many thanks for your fast and great support.
