HD TV channels have distorted audio

I just installed NextPVR and love it and I get excellent signals and video but only good audio on low (standard broadcast) channels. The HD channels have garbled audio. I'm using the Microsoft DVD decoders. Any ideas?

if the picture is good, it must just come down to your decoders. Try installing and selecting the LAV Audio Decoder.

Thanks for the input. I did load the LAV decoders and it didn't change a thing so I started playing with the settings, first all LAV, then combinations with no success. Then I tried the Video settings, no effect either, then I set the Audio Renderer to Default it fixed it.

Thanks so much for the help. I have to say that I'm using an older HP that came with a built in AverMedia tuner that worked with Windows 8 but not 10. No other software would recognize the tuner, even from AverMedia or HP. Your software did the trick!!!

Great - glad you got it sorted. I hadn't noticed in your logs that you'd changed your audio renderer to something other than Default.
