nextPVR IPTV WORKING but Error 401

Hello,

So I got the IPTV working but my "source" is giving me an error the remote server returned error 401 unauthorized. I was told when I subscribed that I could only watch on one device so I think this may be the issue. there is a section when adding the channels to limit the number of connections (set at 16) but its grey out and I cannot change it. Anyway to force this to only allow 1 active stream? thanks in advance. Anyone has ideas to fix the 401 remote error I would like to try. there is some on demand stuff that works but seems to lag a bit, but the live tv all of them fail.. Worth mentioning these were added VIA m3u8

UPDATE: figured out how to change that value to 1. So we will see if it allows me to play after the authorization resets
meanwhile ANY help for IPTV and this error would be great

NextPVR does not currently limit the connections to a specific IPTV provider, so you'll just have to be careful to not go over any connection simultaneous limits associated with your account.

I will eventually add a mechanism to control this (as seen by the currently non-functional 'max connections' setting), but it's not currently in place.

Thanks for the FAST reply. 2 days playing with this. kodi will take forever to load, then stop working etc. I thought it was windows 10 so I am testing with win7, but even another source I have tried works (both on pc and in Kodi) for a moment then crashes. I think this feature would solve it as almost all IPTV providers are placing connection limits to prevent their streams from being re branded or sold ... I will await this release as super excited as this software is truly something amazing and worth donating if I can get it to work ... Ahmen

How did you bypass the greyed out connection limit and set it to 1? I need a 2-5 value depending on how good my HTPC is...

That function is not implemented at this stage, so just greyed out for now.

I realize that it's not open on the front end.. Nick somehow figured out a way to bypass / force it to 1 on the backend/registry or somewhere, so I was asking him how'd he go about it.

There is no logic in the backend to honor that setting

I can't see that he says that. He seems to be saying that his provider imposes a limit of a single stream.

You can't see that he says that? It's right at the top original post, in the "Update:" area...

Regardless - that setting does absolutely nothing at this stage.
