NextPVr Windoes Client crashing going to the EPG

No I have not. Like I have said before it does not always happen. I have seen this issue happen on 3 of my builds so far.
Watching live TV. Press escape to exit out of live TV to go to the program guide. That is when it will go to a black screen then freeze up the program and I have to control, alt, delete to get to a windows task mgr.
I will look into Nlite tonight.

I gave it a try, going full screen playing a recording and going to another window (browser), Nlite image disappeared :eek:, sound keep playing, I click on Nlite on the task bar and the image is back full screen.

Maybe it's not tuned for multi-monitors

Installed Nlite. Pretty cool. I figured how to eliminate the bottom task bar but how do I go and eliminate the top bar?

Alt-Enter causes it to go full-screen, also -fullscreen on the command line will launch in full screen mode.

Got it. making progress. Looked in the wiki and could not find info about Nlite. Cannot find the process to start Nlite in full screen mode...

The executable is where ever you installed it, simple pass -fullscreen as a parameter.

c:\<pathToNlite>\nlite.exe -fullscreen

OK, Installed it on another build and I cannot seem to get it to autostart with windows. Once I manually get it to play and I go full screen with alt, enter I am unable to escape out of live video to go back to the program guide.

I download Nlite and extract it. I click to Nlite. It is not a .exe file. It just says Application. I click on that and it plays.

I must be doing something wrong.

Ok, I think we've drifted off the topic of this thread, not sure if all the above comments are for NLite or running NextPVR as a client...

Regarding the install for NLite - the NLite install is in a zip file. In that zip file is the directory containing NLite and all needed DLLs. You need to copy those files to your hard drive, then you can create a shortcut, or an autostart entry for NLite.

For example:

• In a cmd prompt (DOS Box), create a directory c:\Utils
  
• Extract the contents from NLite.zip to c:\Utils
  
• You should now have c:\Utils\NLite\NLite.exe on your hard drive.
  
• If you type (or dbl-click in Explorer) nlite.exe, the program should start, automatically connect to your server and perform the NPVR client function
  

If there are additional questions regarding NLite, start a new thread and we can deal with them there.
