VideoReDo vs Comskip

Another thread that I didn't want to hijack mentioned that VideoReDo detects/cuts commercials. Does it use comskip or does it use its own processor? How does it compare to comskip?

Given that it has a trial version why don't you just try it? The way commercial detections works varies greatly on the logos that are broadcast on the stations you watch so there will be wide variance in replies. If you use comskip you will ultimately need the donator version for h264 performance.
