Channel Groups

Good day...I am attempting to streamline my group presentation from this

to this
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

which is more manageable since there is limited space at the top of NPVR when clicking on "Groups". I believe there is a problem however, the group "ATSC" which is at the top I have renamed 3 times now to read "LOCAL Channels" and on restart of NPVR, the "ATSC Channels" comes back every time. As you can see on the second pic both ATSC and LOCAL are presented. The same holds true for "IPTV Channels" which I have renamed to "ALL Channels" and it too reverts itself to the original "IPTV Channels".

Any ideas? Thanks in advance...cheeer!!

Good day..I am resurrecting this thread because I am still experiencing a difficulty in streamlining my groups. When I use the rename function to rename a group such as UK ENTERTAINMENT to just ENTERTAINMENT, NPVR creates a second group with that name (ENTERTAINMENT) at the bottom of the groups list. I then delete the original group name, click ok, click update EPG, then exit NPVR. Going back into the groups section I still see the original group plus the renamed group. I would think that if group 1 is renamed to group 33 it would retain that new name and not create a second group with the renamed name. Am I missing something here/ TIA cheers!!

Good day to all...I have found a tool solution which seems to be able to take care of all my Group issues such as renaming groups, renumbering channels, sorting channels within groups, sorting groups, moving channel streams in masse within a group to another group and then deleting original group name. It i a free proggy I found on the web and so far I am impressed. Thanks for all your help sub and Martin, hopefully I can get to test out your 5 version. Cheers!!
