IPTV Streams causing strange looping issue

I've been using nextpvr for many years now for my OTA streaming and have recently added IPTV to the mix. I am noticing a weird issue though. I will be watching a show using an MPEGTS stream and it will after a short period of time loop back 30 seconds then get stuck in that loop until I restart the stream. HLS streams are noticeably worse for this issue. I'm not really sure how to troubleshoot this type of an issue and could use some help. I have attached my logs that captured the issue and can provide a direct link to my nextpvr instance if needed to further troubleshoot this issue.

How does it play in NextPVR instead of the Apple client?

Honestly I'm not sure. I never use it that way. I'll give that a try tomorrow and let you know.

I started watching a channel on the nextpvr server with the nextpvr application and left it run for over an hour with no issues. This leads me to believe that the issue is around how nextpvr interacts with ffmpeg specifically with the transcoding. The transcoding is important since I can limit the bitrate for slower connections. It's important to me for this to work correctly on my androids as it is the primary way I use the application on the go. Thoughts?

That is pretty much all in sub's area. What I might suggest is testing with a newer 32 bit ffmpeg.exe from https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ in the Other folder of NextPVR. There is no guarantee it will respect the command line parameters from NextPVR so save the old one.

There has been a couple of people report this in the past, but I've never been able to reproduce it.

If your IPTV provides you the option of either HLS or TS streams, it might be worth trying the TS streams.

Using the TS streams and the newer 32bit ffmpeg, I have yet to have it loop on me and have used it for about four hours. The app itself is crashing from time to time on Android 9 but that is another issue for a different section.
