Yes, but please be aware that if it ends in 0000 it'll be treated as a new episode (which is what zap2it do).

Hi folks,

First, thanks sub for fixing eHomeWonder recording support. I can record again! However, my problem has nothing to do with the eHome card.

I have a problem with playback audio on 9310. The files recorded are perfectly fine, I can hear normal audio level using the Intervideo WinDVD player. The system is set properly (the Wave And Master outs are set and sounds play back at normal volume). GBPVR's playback of recorded shows is very very low.

It leads me to think there's a configuration parameter set wrong, perhaps not available by UI.

Any ideas?

if you press the right arrow when watching video, does the volume go up?

Damn, I feel really stupid now. Yes, it works perfectly again. Smile

Thank you! That returns the system back to normal. LiveTV and the eHome doesn't work yet, but that's not a big deal for me, the recording works fine!

About two weeks of nearly glitch-free PVR functionality, often while using the box for MAME as well. It works great, thanks GB!

hi sub, live-tv doesn't work in live-preview-mode. i get a "object not set to an instance" - error, i think.

here is the log:

Code:

i use vmr9 with intervideo decoder, i tried with other decoders and overlay and vmr7 but it won't work. changing the deinterlacer doesn't change anything.

i think i configured something wrong, for i seem to be the only one with that problem....

thanks!

It looks like something to do with Teletext, so try disabling this feature.

sub Wrote:There is a known bug in this release that can cause the gbpvr.mdb to be renamed old.mdb. The problem occurs if it fails to compact the database.
This is fixed in the next release.

old.mdb is just gbpvr.mdb renamed immediately prior to trying to compact the database, so nothing is actually lost.
I had something very similar to this. I am running v0.93.10 and have been loving it. The other day I decided to reboot my HTPC and when I started GBPVR back up I noticed that I had lost everything. I recalled that I had seen this (or a similar posting) about the .mdb being renamed so I checked it out. I had a gbpvr.mdb and a gbpvr.mdb_original that were both created about the time that I rebooted. I stopped the service, renamed the "original" file back to gbpvr.mdb, and restarted the service and everything seems back to normal. Was this a fluke or should I expect to do this sort of thing everytime I reboot that machine? Thanks for all of your hard work on this project.
