I found your app via a recommendation from someone on the Plex forums.

I followed the install instructions :-)

Is there a manual? I have guessed at Admin/admin for username and password but have no clue how to proceed from here. I cannot find a readable file in the NPVR directory (like a config file) to set the username and password.

...sorry of this really is a dumb question and I have missed the big sing saying "instructions here".

There is a link for general information for all platforms https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...ublic-Beta and it shows the default values of admin and password.

That link is also useful to know when there are version updates.

Nope; not a dumb question. I actually thought I was playing it safe & downloaded the previous "stable" version, and I am just about to give up because I've scoured this site & the Google machine & have yet to find anything resembling installation instructions. I have the wwwroot HTML files open in my local browser, but there is nothing in the help section there & not a clue anywhere to be found about what to do next.

Unfortunately the wiki got removed in a recent server change but that being said to the documentation is pretty weak at his stage. Not sure what you mean by stable version there is only the beta version of v5 for macOS at this point and installing it is the most challenging for non technical users.

Martin: I'm not seeing any reference to a Mac, but maybe I missed something.

Eightball: Presuming that by "previous stable version", you mean version 4.2.4 for Windows, then the wiki will probably be helpful to you. You can access it at https://nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php

He posted it in the macOS v5 subforum...so we can only assume he's trying to use a Mac.

This s the v5 macOS forum. Basic forum etiquette would mean that is what he is asking about.

D'oh! With the new forum software when you go to the last post in the thread (to scroll back and find the first new one), you can't see what forum you're in. I didn't even check that! And since he used the phrase "previous stable version", I presumed he was talking about 4.2.4. Sorry!
