need to log in twice

http://localhost:8866
and logging in just takes me to a similar looking page at:
http://localhost:8866/login.html?salt=c0...6d8e8bb83b
Now when I log in, I really log in.

...to the user, it look like you need to log in twice.

Are you sure it was http://localhost:8866 you originally tried to view? I'm not able to reproduce this here.

I am aware of this behaviour if you initially try to the login page url like http://localhost:8866/login.html?salt=c0...6d8e8bb83b, with a salt on it from some previous login. Maybe your browser auto completed this for you when you tried to go to http://localhost:8866? This scenario has been fixed for the next release.

Looking at the code, I'm pretty sure it must be the scenario I described above

Sub, I just had this happen and in my case I was on the channel.html screen from an old session it took me to the the login with salt and then another login

Hopefully it'll be fixed in the next build. It fixes the only scenario kind of like you describe, that I could make happen here.
