No EPG data/live TV in Kodi

Hi all -

I have setup a NextPVR backend (4.2.4) that I want to point into a Kodi frontend (v18.3). Ultimately, I will use Kodi on several Nvidia Shield boxes around the house, but for simplicity sake, I am going to first start by configuring Kodi on the same windows 10 PC that is running NextPVR.

NextPVR is working great on my PC. I am able to watch live TV, record, and the guide is working very well.

I added the NextPVR addon in Kodi, and configured it accordingly (192.168.1.95:8866) - and yes I can access this via a browser. While playing around in NextPVR, I recorded a couple of shows and to my surprise - they showed up in Kodi with artwork and everything!

I am struggling to get my channels/EPG up and running here. I have attached my NextPVR logs.

Any help is very much appreciated! I feel like I'm really close here.

Typically this is an IPTV problem with too many channels configured or transferring of VOD channels enabled. For Kodi we also ask for the Kodi debug logs.

Thanks for the quick response! I've attached my Kodi log. I attempted to attach it before, but the 32kb exceeded the .txt file limit size. Attempting again w/ a .zip.

Ok that is not a debug log and also NextPVR wasn't running when you ran it. Remember to remove VOD from the list of channels before providing more logs.

I removed thousands of channels from NextPVR and I was able to see the data in my local Kodi! Thank you for the suggestion!

Since it is working locally, I now want to use my Nvidia shields as a client via Kodi. I installed the NextPVR plugin on the shield, but I am getting an 'addon cannot be loaded - an unknown error has occurred' error.

I ran the debug log in Kodi on my shield and have attached it. Any thoughts?

I didn't see an entry in the firewall for NextPVR, so I attempted to test it by turning the firewall completely off (public and private).

I validated that the backend is up and running, but restarted the recording service just in case.

I reattached the latest log. Anything i can do differently?

Ok - NPVR logs are attached. I also installed Kodi on a wireless laptop and the guide synced up to NPVR without a hitch, but I can't play from the guide. I wonder why I'm having issues on both of my shields?

The shields are getting logged in but I am not seeing how. Empty their pvr guides shut them down and shutdown the iOS device too. Then restart the server and bring one shield online and we can see clean logs.
