moved to windows 10 and npvr 4.2.4 and scan not finding channel

I dont have a log attached because this is an issue with the scan which i assume doesnt log the scan and/or wont indicate any issue with my issue. I just finished upgrading to windows 10 and subsequently the current version of npvr. My old setup on win 7 was working just a few days ago and received wfsb, my local cbs affiliate without issue. Now no matter what adjustments i make to the antenna the scan refuses to find this channel. Theres 2 other stations within a few miles of wfsb and it finds those ok but not this one. I wouldnt worry about it but it's our primary channel for tv viewing. Did something change in this new version that might be affecting the scan or is maybe the win 10 drivers for my happauge card are not as good for a signal?

Im at a loss for why i cant find this channel all of a sudden?

EDIT: Actually after my most recent scan im seeing many of the channels it did find are just black screens. These are stations that had been coming in just fine last i checked a few days ago.

We are at a loss too without the logs.

The black screen will mean you haven't added or configured the audio and video decoders LAV is a good choice.

Actually i just uploaded logs for the black screen. I do have decoders installed, LAV and other channels work.

I didn't download it but it says 22 bytes. Zip up the logs from the setup dialog and try again.

Dang 7zip didnt add the file to the zip. Heres a new version with the actual npvr.log file. Im not sure what log or dialog youre referring to though.

Ok man im trying, but like i said im not sure what you asked for? I know this is free help, but im really stuck here because this isnt working right and scans dont seem to be pulling in the same channels each time. I just retried a fresh install, restart and scan and now somehow it only pulled 19 channels even though a scan an hour ago pulled 35. Ive tried looking at the logs and i dont see any failures at scans or when selecting a black screen channel, but im trying to figure this out on my own. I just dont know what im looking for though.

I can understand wanting to it yourself but like I posted the best way to get support when you ask for it is go to Settings and click the button that say "Zip my log files for me..." and then upload the zip file. You have two problems the scan and the black screen so make sure you duplicate both scenarios before doing the zip.

Heres the full logs zipped form that button, didnt realize it was there. I think both of these issues are related to the scan as the last one i did that only found 19 channels isnt doing the black screen. The scan seems like it's inconsistent and finds weaker channels that only result in a black screen. This is fine, except the WFSB afilliate it should be finding as i know it works and have been watching and recording from it for almost a year.

Great thanks a lot it helps to ask the correct questions. First I would remove any splitters or boosters you might have on the antenna line, strong signals are as bad as weak.

During your own debugging did you install WinTV just to see if it finds the "missing" channel.
