moved to windows 10 and npvr 4.2.4 and scan not finding channel

Great thanks a lot it helps to ask the correct questions. First I would remove any splitters or boosters you might have on the antenna line, strong signals are as bad as weak.

During your own debugging did you install WinTV just to see if it finds the "missing" channel.

my next step when i got home was to remove the amplifier. This channel though is the weakest of all the channels i get so im not sure it's because it's too strong, but im wondering if there is an issue with it lately, possibly due to the high heat we've had this week.

As far as win tv, i lost my code so ive been unable to reinstall that software, but ive been searching high and low trying to find the code so i had something to compare with. Ive asked thier support about gettign a new code without buying one, but no response.

I'm in the same boat, I have to upgrade my backend for HDPVR support in v5 and have my HDPVR disk but not my disk for my hvr-1600 to install WinTV

So i realized i could use the tv to test the channels and didnt need wintv. After doing so it also did not find the cbs affiliate. However ive made numerous adjustments to the antenna direction and one to it's location. So at this point i cant tell if i now have an antenna issue, station signal issue, or what. There's still the fact of the original issue where the channel was fine and antenna untouched, i upgraded and installed npvr and it was gone. Theres too many changes now so im going to have to start over, probably using the tv itself and see if i can regain this channel and if so then try npvr again and come back if the tv tunes it but npvr doesnt.
