NextPVR Channels Not Responding

Video for comes out blank without sound

1. Some channels work, some do not.
2. Channels are all listed.
3. Channels have been recently tuned to reflect new bandwidth.
4 Using Hauphauge card in PC. Checking with WinTV 8.5 show all channels working and strong.

Always worked before unless I was trying to record in the midsth of a bad thunder strorm??

What capture card are you using? If you schedule a recording for a problem channel, does a file get created, is it playable in NextPVR or other player?

I have a Hauppage WinTV-Quad HD (Model 165xx-1 Dual. When I schedule a recording no file is created in NextPVR.

I am not sure what spdif means in this context. All of my connections are made with coax cable from my antenna.

Schedule a test recording ... Immediately after the recording should have finished, go into NextPVR Settings --> About ... Click the button to zip your logs and attach the log zip file to a post telling us the show name and time of the recording so that we know where to look in the logs. Thanks.

Is "L:" an local hard drive, or a network drive?

I'm wondering about that ".." in the middle of the filename. That may be an invalid filename. If you try another show on this same channel, does it create a file?

L is a local drive. The PBS IVTV (4 channels) I record regularly with no problems. Nextpvr allows me to record and watch with no problems. Outside of the PBS nothing works. I can see all 20 channels in my Wintv 8.5 viewer which I believe on my system is the base viewer that Nextpvr uses.

It doesn't use anything from WinTV other than the drivers for the card.

If you're positive that no file is created, I'd be looking at file permissions, and double check your disk isn't full. These are pretty much the only thing that can go wrong with creating the file. (If you got a file, but it was empty, then this is different)
