NextPVR Channels Not Responding

It doesn't use anything from WinTV other than the drivers for the card.




If you're positive that no file is created, I'd be looking at file permissions, and double check your disk isn't full. These are pretty much the only thing that can go wrong with creating the file. (If you got a file, but it was empty, then this is different)

A file is created on the L Drive. When you click on it the error message "Can't play, The file isn't playable, that might be because the is unsupported, the file extenstion is incorrecte or the file is corrupt. These files will play on VLC. L Drive has 3.08 TB Free. The signal is fine. KMTV is my strongest station. PBS IPTV is my weakest. I just did a recording on IPTV. It show as recorded in Nextpvr and on L drive vlc.

Do you mean just double clicking on the file in Windows? It's a .ts file, which Windows wont play by default. If you install the LAV decoder/splitter it'll likely fix that for you:

I don't think that the issue is whether I can play a file or not. Last night I made two beautiful hour long recordings on PBS, IPTV that play on Nextpvr, Kodi, and VLC. The issue is why can't I see the other channels when my Wintv 8.5 plays all of them but Nextpvr seems not to.

Please record two shows ... One show on the channel that works and one show on a channel that is not working and then post the logs again telling us the names of the two shows and the times that the recordings started.. Thanks.

And if you can stop/restart the server immediately before doing the test and not have any significant client activity during the testing, that will help to keep the logs clean from extraneous information so that we can focus the problem.

2. Daniel tiger Neighborhood-8:59 am to 9:32 am - recorded and way able to playback
