Correct. v5 no longer supports the NMT / MVP devices. Unfortunately these devices are really old now, and are no longer sold. It'd have been a huge amount of effort to add NMT/MVP support to v5 (which is effectively a new application), and that just wasn't worth for the number of user with these devices. I'm guessing there is maybe only 3 or 4 people using these devices still.
Sorry! On a positive note, there is lots of other alternative clients options these days, such as Apple TV etc.
Thanks for the confirmation - we're using 5 in the household, and I may hold one of the largest hordes of devices as backups! Maybe it is time to look at something new instead of running with a device that will soon enough be from not even the previous decade, but 2 decades back!!!
Yeah true - that's funny. These days running hardware from 2000's wouldn't be very common, and it'll sound even worse in a few months with the 2020's looming!
Realistically, for most people, having a device with multiple apps, like Netflix etc too, gives a more well rounded client, and gives you a lot more flexibility. The NMT devices were pretty damn good at the time, but they're showing their age.

I'm still using 4 PCH's. Haven't been able to get the spousal-unit to use the ODroids or RPi's I have running Kodi yet. I understand I'm likely in a small minority.
I have v5 running in a VM, but I guess that's were it's going to stay for now. :-(

It'd probably take me a months of work, and I just can't justify that time for a device that old, which is no longer sold, and was never very common.
No worries, I'll keep working on her. I forced the ODroid in the Kitchen on her and she grumbles about it, but I stashed the old PCH in my office out of site. :-)
I was pretty excited about getting rid of the only remaining Windows computer in the house, but that too can wait.
Thanks for all your hard work on such a great application!

Can't believe you called your wife the "Odroid in the Kitchen" ... and that you are forcing her on your NextPVR client... I would never get away with that :-)

Wow, just like hanging with my ski trip buddies. Thanks for making me feel less socially distanced. :-)
