Record to folder without sub-folder

What is the proper way to have recordings, and associated files, save to the default folder without placing into a sub-folder?  I unchecked the following three items and folders are still being created which screws up MceBuddy from commercial skip file creation. Causes a commercial skip loop where many large video files are continuously generated, i.e. abc-cs.mpg, abc-cs-cs,mpg, abc-cs-cs-cs.mpg. On latest version.

• Use S01E01 file naming format if possible
  
• Create season directory if possible
  
• Use Movie.Name.(YEAR) format for movies if possible

You can set <AutoCreateFolders>false</AutoCreateFolders> in config.xml.
